The Italian African Women’s Forum promotes the integration, active participation and leadership of African and Afro-Italian women in Italy<\/strong>, valuing their skills, experiences and cultural resources. It is an association of African women living in Italy and Africa with the aim of joining forces.
\nThe Forum was created as a space for dialogue, representation and collective<\/strong> action to strengthen the role of women of African origin in social, economic and institutional processes, promoting a model of full and participatory citizenship.
\nIt is promoted in particular by the African Women for Change Collective, of which Marie Balagizi Sifa is Coordinator and President.<\/strong>
\nThe Forum also acts as a coordinating organization<\/strong> for the network of African women’s groups and associations in Italy, with the aim of joining forces for a more equitable, supportive and intercultural society.<\/p>\n

Marie Balagizi Sifa \u2013 Coordinator and President<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Marie Balagizi Sifa is an activist, trainer and social entrepreneur of Congolese origin who has been living in Italy for over twenty years.
\nFounder of the African Women for Change Collective<\/strong>, she has always been committed to promoting the role of migrant women, human rights and dialogue between Africa and Italy.<\/strong>
\nThrough the Italian African Women’s Forum, Marie leads projects on women’s empowerment, professional training and sustainable development cooperation.<\/strong>
