The Italian African Women’s Forum promotes the integration, active participation and leadership of African and Afro-Italian women in Italy, valuing their skills, experiences and cultural resources.
\nThe Forum was created as a space for dialogue, representation and collective action to strengthen the role of women of African origin in
\nsocial, economic and institutional processes, promoting a model of full and participatory citizenship.
\nIt is promoted in particular by the African Women for Change Collective, of which Marie Balagizi Sifa is Coordinator and President.
\nThe Forum also acts as a coordinating body for the network of African women’s groups and associations present in Italy,
\nwith the aim of joining forces for a more equitable, supportive and intercultural society.<\/p>\n
